This is another oldie and I think it is by Brian Boniwell, but I’m not actually sure. Singing in the voice of God is less acceptable apparently these days, so I’m not sure if this one can be revived. If anyone can clarify if Mr Boniwell did write this one I’d be grateful.
My backing appears to have been done with children in mind.
Refrain:
You are the ones that I have chosen
You are the ones who know my name
I’ll give to you the light of my spirit
I’ll give to you the love of my heart.
Verse 1
Give to me your time just to listen
Don’t be afraid, I’ll be with you everywhere
Though I’ll be gone, you will seek and you will find me.
Live in me and you will know.
Refrain
Verse 2
Lift your eyes and see me in my sorrow
Drawing you and pouring out my life
Look on me, I’ll be your consolation
Live in me and you will know.
Refrain
I’ll give to you the love of my heart.

I’ve found probably the same SongSelect entry that you have, crediting it to Brian Boniwell and copyright to Spectrum Publications (do they still exist?).
My file collection includes the words (loaded in 2005) and a lead sheet for the hymn (scanned in 2007). In 2005 we were still working with an overhead projector, so I guess my parish at the time must have done it – though I remember it at all.
My OHT copy of the Boniwell “Lord is my Shepherd” also dates from 2005, but I’m sure I have memories of it from before then – it’s one of those settings that I really like, but which didn’t really take off overall.
Boniwell’s Shepherd is from 1978.
Spectrum do exist still but they don’t seem to sell Boniwell anymore.

The other reason I think it is early Boniwell is the fact that the sheet music doesn’t have author or copyright details on each page – it would probably be from a cheaply bound collection.
