Night of Silence (with Silent Night)

This is a request in plenty of time for Christmas. This song by Daniel Kantor is very lovely as a stand alone song, but has been arranged with the addition of “Silent Night”. Basically just do the first verse of “Silent Night” after the three verses of “Night of Silence”. If you are up for it they can also be sung simultaneously.

The lyrics make it a poor choice in the southern hemisphere while we are fainting in an overcrowded poorly ventilated church covered in sweat… then again while symbolically inappropriate here, perhaps a few frozen thoughts might help.
