This is one of the most difficult Sundays for which to chose appropriate hymns. Neither of these suggested lists hits the nail on the head. If I had a recommendation I’d post it. But alas I’m still working on it
I don’t disagree. I think an enormous amount of work has been put into liturgical work for the seasons, particularly Advent and Lent, but when it comes to Ordinary Time, not so much. It can be hard to zero in and make the music choices seamless with the liturgy, and for those of us with hard copy hymnals there are further limitations.
