You can hear the song songs of “Walk In The Reign”, “Safety Harbor”, “Jerusalem My Destiny” and “Up from the Earth” by Rory Cooney, Gary Daigle, Theresa Donohoo (Album-Safety Harbor)here at:

Thank You and God Bless You!
Jerusalem, My Destiny was one of my favorites as a kid (and still is). We take it much faster than the professional recordings I’ve heard. In the refrain, we really emphasize “destiny” and we put a hard T on “cannot” with the eighth rest getting its full rest value. “I cannot (rest) turn away.” It’s a very upbeat song for Lent, and when it very occasionally gets pulled out as a closing song on the weekends, I hum or sing the tune for the rest of the day.
………………………………..The lyrics of Walk in the reign and Safety Harbor
Walk in the Reign
by Rory Cooney
Refrain:
Close as tomorrow, the sun shall appear.
Freedom is coming, and healing is near.
And I a shall, be with you, in laughter and pain,
To stand in the wind, and walk in the reign, to walk in the reign.
1. In days to come, the desert shall bloom.
Rivers will run there, soon very soon.
So what shall we fear, though death do its worst?
The word of our God is, the last shall be first, the last shall be first.
2. Comfort each other, for pain soon must end.
A day comes when lion, and lamb shall be friends.
The sightless shall see then, the speechless sing songs.
The name of our God is, the righter of wrongs, the righter of wrongs.
3. A curtain of fear is being torn down.
Prisons are opened; the lost have been found.
So go tell the seeker, what we’ve seen and heard.
The name of our God is, the keeper of word, the keeper of word.
4. The children who hunger, when fear turns to war.
Crime in our cities, the poor without hope.
When we stand together, to stand against hell,
The name of this people, is “Emmanuel,” is “Emmanuel.”
SAFETY HARBOR
1. Sweet vision, Bless my eyes!
Land upon the western skies!
Constant stars, I bid you rise Over Safety Harbor.
2. Home, home! At last, becalmed!
Far behind us screams the storm.
Tattered canvas waves like arms greeting Safety Harbor.
From the windows of the tower, where the beacon burns,
Faithful friends at ev’ry hour watch for my return.
3. Yours the calm and peace I claim
When I face the waves and rain,
When the searoad calls my name
Out from Safety Harbor.
.
4. Thru the fearsome, foaming gale,
When no spirit fills my sail,
I shall see, tho’ sight may fail,
Lights of Safety Harbor.
Where from windows of the tower,
bright the beacon burns.
Faithful friends at ev’ry hour watch for my return.
Heart’s haven, mem’ry’s shore,
Call me thru the tempest’s roar,
Where the pilgrim sails no more,
home to Safety Harbor,
Where the pilgrim sails no more,
Home to Safety Harbor.
Hi everyone,
After checking out the 4th Sunday list of songs posted, I would really like to get a copy of “Into the darkness”by Maggi Dawn. I have tried to get a purchased PDF copy from the publisher which I can’t purchase because of being in Australia? Has anyone got a copy they could send via email? We have both LicenSing and also CCLI licenses so reporting our usage shouldn’t be a problem. Thanks for your help, Michael
Michael
I’ll be in touch.
