We are resuming music for mass at our local church. With the assembly limited to 20 it will be low key, but hey, I often play with smaller crowds in George Town. I get to play next week. The liturgy team hasn’t met yet so these selections are from our esteemed leader.

We are only being allowed 20 people in a church at present as a precaution even though there is very little Covid 19 in Queensland. Have they opened up more in the US?
Geoff
It really depends where you are in the US. In some of the more rural states, they never closed or did so very briefly. Where I am, we’re on our second week of being reopened. We have reduced capacity limits based on a percentage of total capacity. Certain pews are blocked, the congregation must wear masks and doesn’t sing, and the priest wears a mask at least to distribute Communion. The dispensation from attending is still in effect, so I’ve chosen not to return in person yet.
