I’m curious about which tune you use for Away in a Manger in Australia… I’ve rarely heard the CRADLE SONG tune here in the US, but it’s the tune in our hymnal. I don’t recall ever singing the song at mass, maybe because our hymnal has the tune we don’t know very well. MUELLER seems much more common here.
They are both in use but CRADLE SONG seems more commonly used and is what we will sing tonight.
I prefer MUELLER.

Each Christmas Mass is doing their own selection of carols and hymns from our carol booklets. Carols are sung before our 6pm & 8pm Vigil & 11 pm Night Masses. We are doing Mass Shalom with ‘Save Us Saviour’. At our 6pm Christmas Vigil we use Eucharist Prayer 3 for Children and the refrain of ‘Angels We Have Heard on High’ is used for the ‘Glory to God in the Highest’ responses.
The psalm for our Vigil and Night Masses will be ‘Christmas Psalm’ – Farrell
Music at 8am Christmas Day Mass
