Music for 15/16 February 2014, Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time Year A

The music liturgy team has chosen these songs for mass. We are still using Paul Taylor’s Mass of St Francis, supplemented by the Celtic Alleluia as a Gospel Acclamation.

Entrance: Summoned By Love (O’Brien/Watts) AOV 2/18

  1. Chris says:

Below is the list from my Parish for next Sunday.

Gathering: Gather Your People – Hurd

Psalm: Happy Are They Who Follow… – Colin Smith

POG: Eye Has Not Seen – Haugen (this is new for our parish)

    Communion: Ubi Caritas – Berthier

Sending Forth: Though the Mountains May Fall – Schutte

Mr Admin, I hope your parish will ‘Shout with Gladness, Dance for Joy’ in the start of the first of Sing A New Song.

I’m not sure if the Yahweh police are active at my current parish but I’ll be on the lookout. I think a worse crime might be singing that song as a dirge. I have heard it done in such a way as to make “dance for joy” laughable.

Good luck with the new song.

      Cheers

      Geoff

  2. Yola says:

And at our 10 am we will be singing:

    C: Deep Within (Haas)
C2 (if required): In Love We Choose to Live (Jeanne Cotter)

R: I Have Decided to Follow Jesus
