This delicate flower of a song by Christopher Walker might easily be overwhelmed by the assembly and so might be one for cantoring the verses. It is a setting of Ps 131, which you can hear here. It does go 3/4 to 4/4 throughout the song but it is reasonably smooth with the time changes.

This is my absolute favorite song to sing at church the music is just so soothing and it just reaches out and touches your heart❤️
Not only bad music, but ungrammatical as well. Correct usage would be “AS a child rests…” or, using the gerund, “Like a child RESTING…”. I challenged the publisher on the nissue, was informed that the composer wanted bad grammar so as to mimic the incorrect grammar that a child might use. Surely music in the Church’s service can do better than deliberate error.
