I can skip these songs in VAO 2 as I’ve done them already from other collections, even if the backings I did for them were a bit ropey:

I haven’t blogged a slow burn P&W song like this for a while. John Angotti’s song is a solo +/- choir vehicle with marginal liturgical use – possibly at a second rite I suppose, but is an emotional piece and has echoes for backup singers and a bridge and crescendo’s for maximum effect etc etc.

Since I enter the melody a note at a time into BIAB these sort of songs take a lot longer to do – in fact the easier to enter notes the more singable the tune in general.
