This is an unusual song from Steve Angrisano and Tom Booth that was added to Breaking Bread in 2018 by OCP.
It has two vocal lines, and in their recording, they alternate verses then sing together. They alternate lines in a bridge and then back to the refrain. How these would work with an assembly I’m not sure.
OCP have the sheet music for sale and the text is in their preview.
The two vocal lines are panned to opposite sides in my BIAB backing.
Hi Geoff,
I use your blog quite regularly in my role as Liturgical Music Coordinator at Our Lady of Fatima in Western Australia. Thanks for your sharing your knowledge and research so freely.
I’m trying to buy the sheet music for this hymn but finding it only available in a larger collection which I’m loathe to purchase as we already wouldn’t use a lot of the music in it. Where would I find just a simple lead sheet with guitar chords available for purchasd of just this hymn?
G’Day Peta
It still appears to be available as a single downloadable piece of sheet music at OCP:

This is the sample version for the guitar edition:

Thanks Geoff…with a little more persistence I worked it out and have now bought the piece. Cheers
