A song by Liat Chung Ham, about whom I can find little on the net. It’s a gentle chant. You can hear a snippet from AOV here.
Holy, holy, holy Lord;
Praise and honour are yours,
For you alone are worthy to receive the glory and praise.
Holy, holy, holy Lord;
Praise and honour are yours,
For you alone are worthy to receive the glory and praise.
Lord, receive the glory and praise.
Lord, receive the glory and praise.

My song “Holy Holy Holy Lord” was written whilst on a Mission Liaison trip to the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea back in the late 80’s. One afternoon after helping with construction of the Lillian Dickson Memorial Chapel and running a few screen printing workshops, I felt a very strong tug in my spirit to draw aside and pray. No sooner had I done so when this song kind of “fell from the heavens” and I started singing it straight away. With it came an unexpected kind of knowing in my spirit that this song was for the church. The very first people to hear it were the humble Southern Highlanders who gathered for church the following Sunday. When I got back to Australia I shared and left the song with permission to use it with several churches I had been asked to sing at. Around this time I also connected with Trisha Watts (from Willow Connection) for the very first time. When Willow Connection was compiling ‘As One Voice’ I submitted “Holy Holy Holy Lord” (#75 in the first printed edition). I am so glad this song is being put out there. All the glory is the Lord’s.
Lovely to hear from you.
