I must be getting near the end of the Marty Haugen songs in Gather Comprehensive that haven’t turned up elsewhere in the collections I have blogged to date.
This is a song for Eucharist but could be used to gather as well. The tune sounds so familiar I fear I’ve done it before under another name, or maybe he played it when he was out here for a conference a few years ago.
The sheet music can be purchased at GIA where the text is in their preview.
The refrain of this is the same as the refrain of Within the Reign of God, but the verses are a different tune.
Which I only looked at last week. I think I’m Haugened out
